Welcome to the Atlanta Chapter of the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employee's Site. Our objective is to thoroughly disseminate information to Atlanta chapter members and the public, to keep them apprised of any news, policies, opportunities, or programs in the Federal Aviation Administration that will positively or negatively effect their work environment and communities. We also want to give African Americans, women, and other minority employees an organization to work for their issues. We hope this site provides all the information you need. ACE Camps

Aviation Career Educations (ACE)  Camps are sponsored by the NBCFAE Atlanta Chapter every summer.  Funds are raised with your help and  attendance at the Atlanta Chapters Annual Black and White Ball.  This program informs teenagers of the many careers in aviation.  Each Student gets to fly an airplane with a certified flight instructor.More Info

History

The NATIONAL BLACK COALITION OF FEDERAL AVIATION EMPLOYEES (NBCFAE),  began in May 1976, in San Diego, California when six black controllers felt it necessary to unite to resolve the problems that were not being effectively handled by labor organizations or the various EEO programs.  Nationally organized by August 1976, into one collective voice, the basic organizational structure that exists today was developed.(more..)
